FAQ

Questions, Answered.

Straight answers about functional health, the programs, and how working with Garrett actually works. If your question isn't here, the Discovery Call exists for exactly that.

What is functional health, and what does an FDNP actually do?

Functional health looks at how the body's systems — digestion, hormones, sleep, stress response, metabolism — interact, rather than viewing each symptom in isolation. A Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDNP) is trained to gather a detailed health history, use functional laboratory testing for added context, look for patterns across all of that information, and coach clients through foundational nutrition and lifestyle changes. The goal isn't to make health more complicated — it's to make it easier to understand, so you can make better-informed decisions.

Is this medical care? Do you diagnose or treat conditions?

No. Garrett is not a physician, and The Maqor Method does not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease or medical condition, and does not prescribe medication. The practice is educational and coaching-based: it helps you understand patterns in your health and build stronger foundations through nutrition and lifestyle. It works alongside — never instead of — care from your physician. If you have a medical concern, please see a licensed medical provider.

Who is The Maqor Method for?

Adult men who are motivated to take greater ownership of their health. Most clients don't have a diagnosed disease — they simply know something feels off. Energy isn't what it used to be, recovery takes longer, sleep is inconsistent, digestion is unpredictable, or labs look "normal" but they still don't feel like themselves. If you value understanding your body, practical solutions, and sustainable habits over quick fixes, you're the person this practice was built for.

Do I need to have something "wrong" with me to benefit?

No. Some clients come in with specific concerns; others simply know they could feel better than they do today and want a clearer understanding of their health before small issues become bigger ones. Building resilient foundations is valuable at any starting point.

What laboratory testing is included in The Maqor Transformation?

Functional laboratory testing is included in the program investment. The specific tests are selected based on your history, symptoms, and goals — not from a one-size-fits-all panel. And testing is never positioned as the answer by itself: the lab is one piece of the puzzle, and you are the rest of it.

My doctor already runs bloodwork. How is this different?

It's complementary, not a replacement. Routine bloodwork is typically screening for disease, and "normal" means your values fall inside broad reference ranges. Functional work spends time where a typical appointment can't: a comprehensive history, your nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, and environment — then looks for meaningful patterns across all of it, alongside any lab data. Many men are told everything looks normal and still don't feel right. That gap is exactly where this work lives.

Is everything virtual? Where do you work with clients?

Yes — The Maqor Method is a fully virtual practice. Sessions happen over video, and functional lab kits ship directly to your home, so you can work with Garrett from anywhere in the United States.

What does it cost?

The Discovery Call is complimentary. Investment for The Maqor Transformation™ and The Momentum Program™ is reviewed with you personally during the Discovery Call — you'll have complete pricing and payment details, in writing, before making any commitment.

Why can't I just buy The Maqor Transformation directly from the website?

Because fit matters more than a sale. The program is a 90-day working relationship, and it should start with a conversation — what you're experiencing, what you've already tried, and what you want to improve — so both you and Garrett can decide whether it's the right next step. That's what the complimentary Discovery Call is for. No pressure, no obligation.

What happens on the Discovery Call?

It's a 20-minute conversation, not a consultation. You'll talk through what you're experiencing, what you've already tried, and what you'd like to improve, and Garrett will explain how The Maqor Transformation works so you can decide together whether it's a good fit. It is not a diagnostic session, a treatment session, or a lab-review session — just an honest conversation about whether this is your right next step.

What is The Momentum Program, and who can join?

The Momentum Program™ is available exclusively to graduates of The Maqor Transformation. After your initial 90 days, it keeps Garrett in your corner: ongoing one-on-one coaching, accountability, troubleshooting, progress reviews, and strategy adjustments as your health and goals evolve. Progress doesn't have to end at day 90.

Will I be told to take a pile of supplements?

No. The philosophy here is that supplements are tools — they aren't the foundation. Nutrition, sleep, movement, recovery, and stress management provide the most powerful daily inputs into your health, so the work starts there. When targeted supplementation genuinely makes sense for your situation, it's used strategically — not as a default, and never as a substitute for the foundations.
